The manufacturer states this package is Windows 98, 2000, XP compatible - we ourselves have tested the package only on Windows XP, and recommend it highly above other operating systems.
Continuity is not needed in order to benefit from these frame grabbing functions. This package can be used to log with your copies of Microsoft Word, Excel, Filemaker Pro, or any other program you already have set up to log with.

Frame Grab How To Manual:
- A 14 page manual written just for script supervisors explaining the ins and outs of playback capture on set, the adapters needed, sources for video feed, and how to hook everything up. It also explains how to use standard Comteks to get an audio feed directly into a laptop. This manual does not include the hardware necessary to capture playback, it rather recommends which pieces are necessary to buy. The recommended playback capture device (at writing of the manual, can be bought at a number of specialty stores for $69). It is a very small device that draws video from an on-set source and plugs it into any USB port. Win! Studios has searched high and low for the best possible solution to grab still frames with. This device is tiny, light, not extremely delicate as some playback capture devices are, very mobile, quick to set up, can be plugged in and unplugged all day long - and most important, no power source is needed - power draws directly from the laptop's USB port. Win! has tested 25-30 playback / frame grab devices and come to the conclusion that this is the best possible solution for portability, affordability, on-set ruggedness and ease of use to set up and take down creating the least cumbersome computer setup possible.
